Xmas Edible Gifts – Chia and Berry Jam

To prepare Christmas gift by ourselves is funny and healthy!

Ingredients (for 1 jar)

  • 185g raspberries
  • 45g currants
  • 25g orange juice
  • 20g chia seeds
  • 2tbsp raw cane sugar
  • powdered ginger (optional)





Rinse the raspberries and currants well. Squeeze half a small orange to obtain about 25 ml of juice.

In a saucepan, combine the raspberries, currants, orange juice and sugar (as well as the powdered ginger, if you choose). Stir continuously so that the fruit doesn’t stick to the pan. Bring to a boil, lower the flame and let simmer until the fruit liquifies, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add the Ambrosiae chia seeds, stirring to avoid the formation of lumps. It will start to gel after a few minutes.

When cooled, pour the mixture into a jar and seal.

Refrigerate and consume within a few days.
