The diet of an athlete has always been a delicate and important issue that deserves special attention.
Being mindful about the quality of food we eat is essential for providing our body with the substances necessary for athletic activity, allowing the body to regenerate after intensive workouts and preparing it for subsequent exertions.
I chose to use Ambrosiae products because they’re made with high quality, organic raw materials and free of preservatives, oils, additives and sweeteners. Ambrosiae products also contain no glucose, lactose or yeast, all of which I consume in very limited quantities, as my body doesn’t tolerate them well.
Ambrosiae products are defined as ‘raw’ insofar as they are “entirely processed below 42°C to maximize all the nutritional properties”, to ensure the highest possible density of nutrients.
It’s really important for me to be able to enjoy a snack or a healthy breakfast, consisting of plant foods “rich in essential nutrients (vitamins, fatty acids, minerals, antioxidants); real food and not something produced in a chemistry lab”.
